When cleaning glass curtain walls hundreds of meters high no longer requires "high-altitude workers" to risk their lives, and when technological innovation truly becomes a guardian shield protecting lives—this is the moment defined by Guangdong Lingdu Intelligence!

Today, the Yangcheng Evening News prominently features our company's self-developed high-altitude glass-cleaning robots under the headline: "How Guangzhou-Made Robots Are Saving 'High-Altitude Workers'."

This is not merely a technological breakthrough, but a revolution for the industry—one that upholds worker dignity and safety. It stands as Guangzhou's most powerful testament to the principle of "Tech for Good"!

The specific report content is as follows:

Suspended by a single rope hundreds of meters high, the harrowing scenes of "high-altitude workers" on the job are not uncommon: Before a heavy rain in Hangzhou, a worker was trapped outside the 37th floor of the Xinda International Building, unable to move when his rope jammed during an emergency descent. In Beijing, during a sudden storm, over a dozen workers cleaning the facade of the CCTV headquarters were seen swinging wildly on their ropes in the strong wind.

Cleaning robots from Lingdu Intelligence are now replacing humans in this high-risk job. "The dangers faced by high-altitude workers are not just a problem for China; they are a global hazard, a shared risk for all humanity," said Jackey Huang. "In theory, our high-altitude glass curtain wall robots have no height limit. As long as the rope securing the robot is long enough, they can be used in high-rise settings like office buildings above 30 meters, as well as lower-altitude scenarios like hotel atriums below 30 meters. Their market application value is very broad."

Reporters learned that Lingdu Intelligence's self-developed self-locking mechanism, equipped with negative pressure adsorption technology and self-locking rope-climbing components, enables the robot to function like an elevator. Even during a power outage or malfunction while operating, it automatically and securely adheres to the curtain wall surface and locks onto the safety rope, preventing the risk of falling. The water recycling system makes the robot lighter and significantly reduces water consumption during cleaning by reclaiming used water.

Beyond replacing dangerous high-rise work, Lingdu Intelligence, with its added advantage of water conservation, is rapidly opening up markets in the Middle East. Huang Jian provided an example: For a 30-story building, traditional high-altitude worker cleaning requires continuous water flushing, using roughly 50 to 120 metric tons of water per building. In contrast, Lingdu's robots, utilizing micro-volume cleaning and water recycling technology, need only about 200 liters of water to clean an entire building.

Managing high-risk operations is also a significant challenge. "During high-altitude cleaning, there must be supervision when setting up the safety ropes near guardrails on the roof," Huang explained. "Often, experienced veteran workers might feel it's unnecessary, thinking they can move freely at heights. Accidents happen precisely because of such overlooked details. Sometimes, the emotional bonds between colleagues who work together daily can lead to lax supervision."

"Our current cleaning robots provide service through a human-machine collaboration model. Even if some high-altitude tasks require employee involvement, we ensure their safety. Our intelligent, visual monitoring robots provide 24/7 oversight, effectively avoiding these management difficulties," Jackey stated, adding that the company will also launch a fully automated high-altitude glass curtain wall cleaning robot in the future.

"Our market promotion targets over 200 countries globally," Jackey said. In January of this year, Lingdu's cleaning robot attracted public attention as it cleaned the near-vertical facade of the Conrad Hilton Hotel in Manama, Bahrain. From the birth of its first-generation product in 2017, upgrading to the third generation in 2019, relocating its headquarters to Guangzhou's Huangpu District in 2021, to exporting to over 20 countries and regions, Lingdu Intelligence's rapid development exemplifies Guangdong manufacturing's global success.

"The greatest strength of Guangdong's robotics industry is its pragmatism," Jackey noted. "Looking across Guangdong's robotics sector, most innovations are application-focused, genuinely solving societal pain points, like street-sweeping robots tackling urban cleanliness. Applying this to Lingdu, knowing the extreme dangers of high-altitude work, solving life safety issues is our product's biggest selling point."

In Huangpu District, local policies are also helping Lingdu open up service markets. "We've signed intelligent cleaning service agreements with state-owned entities like the Science City Group. Current orders from state-owned enterprises have already reached several million yuan. This is certainly aided by the emphasis placed by governments at all levels, helping our company promote more application scenarios." In Jackey's view, intelligent cleaning services can indeed pilot in Guangdong before expanding point-by-point nationwide.

"Compared to manual labor, even setting safety aside, our operational efficiency is very high," Jackey illustrated. "Bound by current regulations, each high-altitude worker can only operate for 6 hours per day, cleaning roughly 600 square meters of glass curtain wall, and is also constrained by factors like wind and weather. Our high-altitude cleaning robots can withstand winds up to Beaufort scale 12 and clean nearly 2,000 square meters of glass curtain wall in 6 hours."

Government support has also been significant in Lingdu's overseas expansion. "We began export operations at the end of 2023 and have already enjoyed nearly 500,000 RMB in export tax rebates in 2024," Jackey shared. What impressed him deeply was the efficiency gained through platforms like remote virtual windows, the tax bureau's WeChat official account, and WeChat mini-programs, enabling online processing of paperless export declarations, electronic documentary record filing, and certificate issuance for tax rebates.

Hearing that Guangdong plans to organize overseas exhibitions this year to help companies explore international markets further energized Jackey: "Our company has a strong need to go global. Exhibitions in Europe, the US, the Middle East, Singapore, and Southeast Asia – if the company had to shoulder the cost of attending each one itself, the expense would indeed be very high. If the government forms delegations to lead us overseas and helps reduce our burden, it would be truly excellent."

The Yangcheng Evening News report is not only a recognition of Lingdu Intelligence's technological prowess but also an affirmation of "Guangzhou Intelligent Manufacturing"!

The ascent never stops! We will continue to deepen our technological expertise, driving the early arrival of fully automated robots. Together with global partners, we will ensure this "safe, efficient, and eco-friendly" intelligent cleaning solution, originating from Guangzhou, scales the summits of more skyscrapers worldwide.

For the history of high-altitude work, we will write a bold new chapter—one that weathers any storm and stands firmly grounded!
