In January this year, at the Hilton Conrad Hotel in Manama, Bahrain's capital, a smart robot navigated the steep facade of the building, performing high-altitude cleaning work that drew crowds of curious onlookers. The star of this impressive demonstration was the high-altitude curtain wall cleaning robot, independently developed by Guangdong Lingdu Intelligent Technology Development Co., Ltd.
Jackey Huang, Vice General Manager of Lingdu Intelligence, explained that compared to traditional methods employing "roped window washers," robotic cleaning not only reduces costs but also offers significant advantages in water conservation. This makes it particularly attractive for water-scarce regions like Saudi Arabia and the UAE. "To date, our products have been exported to over 20 countries and regions across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas," Huang stated.
Given current conditions, Jackey believes it's crucial to actively expand into non-U.S. markets. He expressed strong confidence in the company's growth prospects. "Facade cleaning is high-risk work. Internationally, there's vast market potential for cleaning robots that can replace human labor," he said. Jackey added that Lingdu Intelligence will continue to intensify R&D efforts to upgrade application scenarios and leverage international exhibitions to boost brand visibility, aiming to reach a broader market.
